FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Hamrick School firmly believes that education
beyond high school should not be a barrier for
attending one's school of choice. The following
financing options are available for those who
qualify:
TRAINING GRANTS
Hamrick School is an approved provider for the
Workforce Investment Act.
This means that individuals who have low income or
are unemployed may qualify for training grants from
state agencies.
VETERANS
Some programs are approved for veterans training by
the Department of Education State Approving Agency
for Veterans Training.
There are a number of time frames and circumstances
where a veteran may qualify for benefits.
FINANCIAL AID
Hamrick School offers financial assistance to those
students who qualify and are enrolled in an eligible
program, such as the 404 Professional Truck Driver
Training Program and the 600 Master Truck Driver
Training Program. The following student financial
aid programs are available to students who qualify:
Federal PELL Grant
Federal Family Educational Loan Programs
Federal PLUS Loan Programs
An applicant will meet with one of the financial aid
staff members for a personal and confidential
interview. The applicant's eligibility will be
determined, and an estimated financial aid package
will be presented for the student's consideration.
NON-FEDERAL LOAN OPTIONS
The School can provide students with information on
non-federal based financing options. These loans are
made through banks and agencies and acceptance is
not guaranteed by the School.
TUITION REPAYMENT
There are a number of trucking companies that will
reimburse graduates for their tuition. Reimbursement
amounts range from $3,000 to $6,000. |
